Pastor Melvin L. Campbell

was born in Lockport, IL on September 5,1971 to Climmieteen and Leroy Campbell. He was raised and taught holiness at a young age from Bethleham Temple Apostolic Faith Church located at Princeton Ave. in Lockport, Illinois under the pastorate of Bishop Clord Jordon where he was baptized as a child. Elder Campbell later received the baptism of the Holy Ghost on December 31, 1992 at Christ Temple Church in Joliet, IL under the pastorate of D/E JE Moore, now the first assistant presiding Bishop of the PCAF.

The hand of the Lord was upon Minister Campbell as he quickly began serving the Lord in many capacities of the church. He joined the Usher Board committee and was appointed by the pastor to be an audio technician. He held office with the Brotherhood department as secretary and then treasurer, which lead to him later becoming a Sunday school teacher for teenaged boys and working as Altar Evangelist. He was part of the music department and ministered with the "Edifiers" choir eventually serving as president of the Youth Department. He was called into the ministry the year of 2000 with a humble heart to serve the board of Elders. He also served as the treasure of the Illinois State Youth Department.

Minister Campbell has completed the Sunday School ETA Program with the PCAF national body and is currently pursuing a bachelors at Midwest Apostolic Bible College where he has completed courses in Romans, Homiletics, Hermeneutics, and Aplogetics, etc.

On April 3, 2005 Minister Campbell was appointed Assistant Pastor of the Christ Temple Church located in Bloomington under the pastorate of Julia Smith. Minister Campbell assisted her through preaching and teaching the word of God weekly.

Minister Campbell was installed pastor of Christ Temple Pentecostal Church on September 25, 2005 by the Diocesan Bishop, Doctor D. Rayford Bell of the Illinois State Council of the PCAF. August of 2007, Minister Campbell became an ordained Elder of the PCAF at the 50th National Convention in Detriot, Michigan.

Elder Campbell is loved by his wife Evanglist Edyth (Moore) Campbell of 12 years. They are blessed with two beautiful children: Melvin L Campbell II (9) and Tecola Clim Campbell
